Responsibilities

1. Project management from perspective of mechanical engineering during the product development stage.

2. Review product drawings for manufacturing feasibility and recommends process routines as required for compliance with manufacturing capabilities, cost and product performance.

3. Work with suppliers on the optimization of tooling / fixture design and processing improvement or cost down activities.

4. Maintain a detailed tool status report on tooling and provides a continual update of this information to immediate supervision.

5. Submits for approval, sample parts from new/and/or revised tooling and reviews product engineering disposition to determine corrective action required when necessary.

6. Evaluates tooling problems occurring at the various plant locations on request, and consults with the necessary divisional personnel as to the proper corrective action to be taken.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

1. BS Degree on Mechanical engineering.
2. Good knowledge on steel / SS / Al raw material, understanding of mechanical manufacturing methods, experience of Aluminum Die Casting products is plus.
3. 3+ years hands-on experience in tooling fabrication of stampings / bending / cutting dies, laser cutting, aluminum Die casting and extrusions.
4. Good understanding of surface treatment: polishing / powder painting / Plating / Etc.
5. Initiative, independent and good communication skill with all team members.
6. Good writing and oral English.
