Job Purpose and Background

To implement and maintain all IT infrastructure, hardware and software applications that support the business activities of the North East Asia region. The person in this role will coordinate between business management and associates, and external vendors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring Team Technology Needs are Met

· Set up and maintain the IT infrastructure supporting each place of work in line with AVC IT standards.

· Analyze information, identify problems and propose solutions.

· Ensures that computer and network operations are monitored, that backup/recovery functions are performed on scheduled basis and that administration functions for hardware, operating and application systems are maintained and completed on consistent basis.

· Ensure all activities are consistent with the Minor IT standards.

· Maintain inventory and ensure proper asset management

· Provides feedback to Director of IT on application functional performance and system performance.

· Maintain, inspect and repair equipment.

· Enforce IT policies and standards protecting company hardware, software and other resources at the property.

Managing Projects and Policies

· Work with IT Director to determine priorities, schedules, and resource needs to ensure completion of projects on schedule and according to specification.

Demonstrating and Applying IT Knowledge

· Keep up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge to your job.

· Demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.

· Provide technical expertise and support.

Additional Responsibilities

· Provide IT support to supervisors and co-workers

· Inform/update executives and associates on relevant information in a timely manner.

· Analyze information and evaluate results to recommend the best solution to meet business needs.

· Manage vendors for IT requirements.

Education and Experience

· BS/BA or equivalent work experience. Additionally, 3-5 years experience in like position.

· System-related professional certifications desired.
