The JV Marketing Sales and Service (MS&S) Warranty Operations Manager is responsible for operation and deployment of the application of the Warranty Policy and Procedures for the customers and dealers of the LR products to be produced by the JV between Chery and Jaguar Land Rover. This role will be closely associated with the JLR China NSC team, and will operate an “Embedded collaboration” model with them to ensure one JLR voice to the customer and Dealer network as well as back to the JLR Global Brand teams.
This role will collaborate with the JLR China NSC Customer Service team to:
？Ensure one consistent JLR voice to the dealer and customer, in support of JLR objective of an ‘Outstanding Customer Experience’
？Ensure close co-operation with related departments within Jaguar Land Rover warranty and technical group to promote a single ‘Voice of Market’ on product related issues contributing to customer dissatisfaction
？Develop and distribute as required the JV vehicle market warranty reporting and dealer warranty performance analysis
？Represent the JV business at the JLR warranty counselling process monthly meeting, ensuring appropriate priority on JV models. Provide on-site Warranty Counselling support to dealers to assist in warranty repair process and claim submission
？Provide/be JV representation in the dealer audit process and appropriate allocation of chargebacks
？Create and distribute reporting metrics to the business covering top issues of dealer warranty spend per vehicle model
？Manage and implement JV Warranty Recovery function, to cover return part management and supplier interface on local parts and JLR liaison on imported parts.
？Overtime – develop team to undertake returned part analysis and supplier commercial negotiation to maximise chargeback opportunity
？Supervise remote warranty claim investigation / appeal /query support – technical support service for dealer contact for advice on claim submission and process
？Supervise in market claim payment processing function
？Create and distribute reports for Recall / Field Service Action completion rates
？Support all After Sales Dealer Standards associated with all aspects of the after sales environment
？Maintain up to date product knowledge related to market government legislation / regulatory policies.(eg 3 guarantees rule – pending legislation)

1.Bachelors degree in Science or Engineering, or applicable work experience required Essential
2.Significant experience, 3+ years, (in automobile company an advantage) Essential
3.Extensive knowledge and experience of dealer warranty process and procedures (having worked as warranty administrator / auditor an advantage) Essential
4.Strong communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence Essential
5.Good analytical and reporting skills (Analytical with the ability to interpret data and relate it to operational activity) Essential
