Job Responsibility:
? Utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, assembly methods and quality control standards to evaluate and continuously improve production capability and product quality in production line;
? Coach, train, and direct technicians and operators to obtain optimum output & results;
? Create standard work, work instruction and control plan;
? Process cost analysis and estimate, build-up product BOM and cost structure in corporate ERP system
? Active participate LEAN activities and 5S +Safety practices on workshop;
? Handle sample & prototype process;
? Manage self and others in design, procurement, assembly, and start-up of automated equipment systems intended to be used to manufacture conductive plastics pellets and all associated processes.
? Identify and qualify secondary sources for all raw materials. This includes base polymers used.
? Design and implement all quality control systems including real time SPC with feed back loop.
? Benchmark industry best practices and leverage those concepts into process and equipment projects.
? Identify and qualify new vendors for components and materials as needed.
? Develop and manage project budget in terms of money and time with periodic reporting including identification to organization in a timely fashion any projected overages.

Qualifications:
? Bachelor degree in chemical engineering or equivalent;
? Minimum 3 years of polymer or Mechanical Engineering related working experience; extrusion is plus
? Strong verbal and written communication skills
? Strong computer skills required to efficiently utilize Word, Excel and CAD;
? Individual must have strong mechanical design skills with the ability to conceptualize new designs then perform the detailed engineering to bring concept to reality.
? Basic knowledge of SPC fundamentals and the ability to integrate data collection requirements into system design with feed back loop.
? Individual to be self motivated with the ability to direct the work of other professionals.
? Individual must have strong mechanical design skills with the ability to conceptualize new designs then perform the detailed engineering to bring concept to reality.
? Basic knowledge in electrical, hydraulic, and fluid system design.
? Basic knowledge in PLC equipment design and manufacture including programming of logic control.
? Ability to develop then perform engineering design presentations for both internal and external audiences.
? Individual to be self motivated with the ability to direct the work of other professionals.
