This position is for Division Chomerics Shanghai Plant.

Chomerics is a division of the Seal Group of the Parker Hannifin Corporation. Chomerics is a leading global manufacturer of EMI (electromagnetic interference) shielding materials.We also manufacture an innovative line of thermal interface materials. It is focusing on Telecom, IT and Auto market in Asia.





Position Summary:

Execute purchase plan based on master planners’ instructions and issue PO to vendors timely. Expedite with vendors and logistics to ensure materials arrive in certain time frame. Monitor supplier on-time-delivery and action plans.



Job Responsibility:

? Review the Master Plan for material requirements;

? Issue Purchase Orders to internal and outside suppliers;

? Track and expedite open orders to ensure on-time delivery from Suppliers;

? Update real-time PO promise date and purchase price;

? Coordinate PO receipt related documents;

? Focal contact of vendors on deliveries, invoice and payment related issues;

? Be responsible for supplier On-time-delivery and review action plans for non-performed suppliers

? Be responsible for reporting any abnormal purchase variance;

? Expedite, communicate and escalate any material shortages to minimize negative impact to customers;

? Participate safety stock and kanban setup;

? Setup stock plan for MRO items to optimize resources;

? Focal contact on logistic related functions like Custom clearance, transportation etc.;

? Perform other related responsibilities.





Qualifications:



? Bachelor degree or above, preferably Bachelor of Science;

? 3 years or above experience in purchasing and expediting in multi-international companies;

? Knowledge on import/export, Customs clearance, logistics etc.;

? Familiar with ERP system like JDE is a plus;

? Aggressive, open-minded, good communication skills and team work spirit;

? Always try to be a solution-provider. Good negotiating skills as an essential.

? Good English language ability, CET4 or above.
