Job Description:

The VP of QA/QC Inspections/Social Compliance, Asia will be responsible for the direction of the QA/QC Inspections/Social Compliance functions at all suppliers’ locations in the Great China area. Provides leadership and expertise to the QA/QC Inspections/Social Compliance function in the Zone. Directly supervises and oversees all QA/QC Inspections/Social Compliance programs to ensure that all products meet or exceed minimum safety standards, customer specifications, government regulations and product standards
This position will directly report to the company’s President in Charge of Asia Operation. We offer a competitive package and career development in the company.

Responsibilities will include:

QC Function
？ Oversee and Lead the QC Department and liaise with personnel from other departments/customer to ensure the smooth implementation of company quality control
？ Track and report vendors' quality performance
？ Adoption of proactive quality improvement practices in area of responsibility
？ Assist Sales department in handling reclamations and other quality issues
？ Manage the quality improvement in key suppliers
？ Monitor and analyse customer returns and defective products.
？ Develop, implement and maintain Quality inspection plans and procedures
？ Manage, guide, motivate and develop QC team.
？ Responsible for evaluating the performance of personnel in QC department;

QA Function
？ Act as a management representative on all quality aspect
？ Sets standards for products purchased
？ Coordinates Customer complaint and Internal yield analysis improvement program;
？ Build, maintain and upgrade quality assurance system.
？ Based on corporate strategy, establish quality management plan, improve quality management level.
？ Insure best practices and lessons learned are appropriately transferred.
？ Coordinate Global and Regional Quality objectives within China quality system.
？ Manage, guide, motivate and develop QA team.
？ Coordinates and approves all pre-production sample submissions of new products
？ Responsible for evaluating the performance of personnel in QA department;
？ Recommends training requirements
？ Oversee and manage testing process.

Social Compliance Function
？ Drive social accountability C-TPAT program of the company
？ Plan and organize factory audit and evaluate suppliers in compliance with Company standards
？ Work with suppliers on continuous improvement action
？ Educate suppliers to understand Lifetime Brands' social compliance requirements
？ Interact with DI (Direct Import) customers of social compliance audit and improvement
？ Follow up supplier's corrective action plan
？ Manage, guide, motivate and develop Social Compliance team.
？ Responsible for evaluating the performance of personnel in Social Compliance department;

Requirement
-Over 15 years or more QC/QA management experience in hard goods in line of kitchen tools & gadgets, Cutlery, Tabletop, Pantryware, Platware, Home Decoration products etc., all area of house hold products.
-Good Inter-communication and management skill, with responsibility in managing a QA/QC team of 50 plus employees.
-Must have held senior management positions in related industry.
-Good PC skill and fluent written English.
-Bachelor’s degree.
-Heavy travel is expected.
