Job Responsibilities:

1.Understand the technical requirements of the parts and sub-assemblies and clarify specifications to the suppliers;
2.Evaluate the capability and capacity of the suppliers for the parts and commodities;
3.Evaluate quote, analyze costs and select suppliers;
4.Drive the First Article process with the supplier and our Quality team;

5.Work with Quality team to develop and implement quality improvement targets and programs for all new suppliers;

6.Work closely with R&D team coordinating communications with current supplier to ensure that all suppliers respond quickly and fully understand our requirements regarding lead time, technical specifications and quality;
7.Regular price negotiation with all local supplier (1 or 2 time per year) to keep reducing the parts cost; Negotiate with all local supplier and try to achieve the lead time target and the payment term target;
8.Make sure all commercial master data (price, lead time, MOQ) are correct in the system; make sure supply contract with all appendix to be signed and well stored;

9.To improve communication and develop relationship with suppliers in the spirit of open and friendly partnership.

Job Requirements:

1.University graduate or above in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
2.Proficient skills in MS office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);

3.Competent in negotiating skills and assessing vendors;
4.Experience in ERP system;
5.At least 3 years sourcing experience on the following commodities - machining (incl. sand casting), sub-assemblies, no-standard drive parts;
6.Manufacturing, R&D or quality experience is appreciated;

7.Must have highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
