Position Overview

Support Senior Graphic Designer in presenting, promoting and selling products by developing insert graphic, packaging and product renderings.

Essential Functions

1. Support Senior Graphic Designer on re-design projects based on Starbucks client needs on existing products to extend product life cycle and merchandise programs pitching, including not limited to - supplying creative ideas , artwork development for promotions including Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall, Holiday 5 key seasons.
2. Constantly collect graphic trend information (within Asia) and new color ideas through market walk and web search, and share seasonal knowledge within team.
3. Highly flexible and good understanding of commercial operation cycle. Detailed oriented, good sense of meeting deadlines and able to manage multi-tasks.

Proficiencies

1. Strong hand drawing dsign skills, professional graphic desigh related skills.
2. Solid word processing and computer database skills with knowledge of Adobe Photo Shop/Illustrator, Quark Xpress and Macromedia Freehand.
3. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively lead and work with individuals and groups at all organization levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
5. Ability to balance a complex workload and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.

Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent related experience.
