Responsibilities

· Samples meet the standards as per the specifications

· Provide solutions to quality issues

· Minimise company risk with ensuring products meet the mandatory requirements

· Ensure effective processes are in place to minimise the company product liability claims

· Provide technical advice to Merchandisers, suppliers and customers

· Communicate with vendors on all technical issues to ensure goods are delivered in accordance with standards

· Review customer product returns and maintain within industry tolerances

Monitor factory performances and communicate back to the Merchandisers

Team Management

· Support to company with business initiatives

· Support recruitment and training of new Team Members

· Ensure highly skilled and capable team

· Performance team as required

· Manage team accountabilities, responsibility and authority level

· Contribute to and maintain a positive team culture that contributes to the provision of excellence in performance and customer satisfaction

Maintain & promote positive relationship with PM teams through regular meetings & providing technical support & advice.

Financials

· Department budgets and controls are in place

· Manage product recalls to ensure timely and cost effective corrective outcome
