Position Background

COSAM in EF Labs is seeking a talented Senior Front-End Developer with over 5 years of proven HTML, CSS and associated experience. We want your imagination to run free as you work with our team of passionate developers to build websites and digital marketing campaigns that blow minds. You need an eye for detail and a heart for the big picture. We’re looking for a question-asking, boundary-pushing, team-playing, clear-communicating, change-seeking, deadline-meeting, problem-solving, opinion-sharing, but humble-listening, creative-thinking kind of person. Is that you?

Your day-to-day will be filled with things like consulting with project managers, the development manager, back-end and other front-end developers in the team, and marketing managers to understand computing needs and system requirements. As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will dream up and develop highly complex websites that integrate artwork, text, video and sound. Of course, staying in tune with advances in technology and updates to all security and operational requirements is quite important as well.

Job Scope

1. Manage digital marketing web assets for EF China adults center business
2. Create user-friendly interface using HTML + CSS + JavaScript
3. Design/develop/refactoring websites and web pages
4. Other digital marketing related tasks based on business requirement

Requirements

1. 5+ years working experience on Web front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
2. Familiar with JavaScript concepts, Ajax and DHTML
3. Experience on corporate with Back-end engineers
4. Understand jQuery
5. Fluent in Web standards and building solutions using semantic markup
6. Passion for creating great user experiences in collaboration with UI designers
7. Knowledge of performance optimization technologies;
8. Understand all major browers and the special considerations required for all various quirks
9. Experience on maintaining and managing style sheets for large website
10. Have experience on Photoshop or Fireworks (deal with images)
11. Can resolve problem independently and have passion to cutting edge technologies
12. Have good interpersonal and communication skills, can effectively work with strong technical teams
13. Knowing Java and Ruby is a plus
14. Open to open source front-end framework (Bootstrap, Require). Knowing Grunt, Node is a plus
15. Bachelor degree of Computer Science or other related major
