Qualification

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

• Fluent in spoken and written English & excellent interpersonal skills

• Highly computer literate with ability to work on Excel, Word, Power Point and also Internet.

• Should be having good letter writing skills – Chinese & English.

• Willing to travel widely within China to various industrial towns & also in other Asian Countries.

• At least 2 years working experience in Purchase/Sourcing /Vendor development related to electrical equipment

Job Description

1. Overall co ordination with various suppliers for supply related activities.
2. Supplier identification for different engineering components and raw materials.
3. Visit suppliers for evaluation and make assessment reports.
4. Knowledge on Electrical and Mechanical Engineering components like transformers, GIS
5. Experience working power equipment manufacturers
6. Knowledge of Elementary Engineering drawings
7. Update Sourcing data base with dispatches and new suppliers
8. Translation of technical and non-technical documents for business requirements.
9. Communicate with various Chinese business contacts during business meetings, Negotiations and act as interpreter.
