Qualification

• University Graduate - Engineer
• 5 to 8 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management/Sourcing
• Fluent in spoken and written English & excellent interpersonal skills
• Highly computer literate with ability to work on Excel, Word, Power Point and also Internet.
• Ability to email in English

Job Description

Job Role and Responsibilities

- Identifications of new suppliers for the given items/components.

- Float enquiries to various identified suppliers.

- To get Technical clarifications from Chinese Suppliers required drawings etc.

- Follow up with suppliers for delivery.

- Ensure correct understanding of our requirements to Chinese Suppliers.

- Explain requirements of documentations and help in preparing desired documentation.

- Expediting where ever required.

- Coordinating with third parties Like BVQI/Velosi/LR for Inspections/documentation.

- Resolving issues in order executions. Coordinating for shipments.

- Development of new vendors.

- Visit to supplier facilities as and when required.

- Establish contacts with Design/Engg people in the supplier’s organization in order get faster and more efficient response.

Sourcing of Items as mentioned bellow :

- Components required for Power plants, and Balance of Plants items.

- Components of Boilers, Turbines, Pulverisors ,ESP etc.

- Large castings, forgings, Pipes, Tubes, Fitting.

- Boiler Structures ( fabricated ),Ductings etc
