Job Description
To port and develop high-quality embedded Linux-based networking application software to
perform optimally on state-of-the-art platforms featuring high performance Freescale
communication processors.
Candidate profile
_ Currently working as an embedded Linux software development engineer with a
minimum of 5 years of software product development experience with networking
products.
_ Experienced with integrating and optimizing system performance on platforms
embedded with open source software applications such as WiFi Router, Network
Attached Storage, Network Video Recorder, Digital Living Network Alliance, Wireless
Personal Area Network and Voice over IP.
_ Experienced with using software tools (LTIB, System Builder and Yocto) to build
embedded Linux applications and Linux Board Support Packages.
_ Experienced with system-level software design for systems with resource constraints.
_ Experienced with developing software using Freescale communication processors.
_ Experienced with developing software using multi-core communication processors.
_ Experienced with developing Linux device driver, uboot, BSP porting, USB driver, MMC/SD driver, Wifi driver, Nand/Nor Flash driver, etc
_ Familiar with Linux kernel, MM, TCP/IP, Interrupt, Filesystem,etc
_ Practitioner of quality software development process.
_ Possessing excellent software debugging skills.
_ Possessing good communication skills.
_ Possessing good leadership & organizational skills.
_ Must be expert in programming languages of C/C++.
