1. Provide development guidance for both new and existing suppliers producing Chassis parts to fulfill corporate sourcing requirements;

2. Identify and select suppliers as needed; build strong relationship with supplier management and front-line personnel;

3. Provide advise/assistance/training to obtain compliance, e.g. APQP, PPAP, R@R, Statistical Process Controls, Process Capability Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, etc. ;

4. Perform quality audits and approval examinations, as required, for both prospective and current suppliers. Audits will conform to ISO/TS 16949 or ISO 9001 requirements;

5. Provide Supplier Quality Assurance assistance to solve quality, delivery and cost problems. Serve as liaison between supplier and corresponding purchasing, quality, manufacturing and engineering personnel;

6. Facilitate efficient inspection processes for suppliers to ensure product introductions and ongoing production requirements process smoothly;

7. Participate in the source evaluation and approval of potential suppliers;

8. Prepare status reports and maintain documentation for continuous improvements;

Requirements:

1. Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or equivalent engineering majors;

2. 3+ years wok experience as supplier development/quality engineer in auto industry;

3. Strong organization and communication skills;

4. Familiar with FEMA/APQP/PPAP/SPC/MSA;

5. Excellent oral and written English skills;

6. be willing to travel;
