In order to support the high speed growth, PEER China now invites high caliber personnel to take up the position of Business Process Analysis. The position will be located in Shanghai and report to the Information Service Manager – Asia.


Job Summary

The Business System Analyst’s role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of ERP implementation and development through best practices and supporting end users in the organization about how to use ERP software efficiently and effectively in fulfilling business objectives. The Analyst is also responsible for planning and coordinating the change management of processes required for the support of ERP systems and other applications necessary for business operations. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.


Key Responsibilities

· Understand the discipline of planning, organizing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of the project goals and objectives.

· Achieve project goals while working under the constraints of project scope timeline and budget.

· Define the scope of the project to include budget, people, time line, deliverables for project goal and objectives.

· Manage the work of third party consultants engaged in projects.

· Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.

· Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow aligned with the ERP process.

· Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.

· Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization.

· Create systems models, specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to system programmers.

· Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.

· Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support.

· Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.

· Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.

· Develop and oversee the ERP change management process across the organization in all affected areas.

· Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of ERP software programs and applications.

· Liaise with company’s ERP suppliers for prompt rectification of any problems or emergencies.

· Liaise with network administrators and software engineers to assist with design specifications, program logic, and data conversions.

· Evaluate proposals in order to identify potential problem areas, and make the appropriate recommendations.

· Interact regularly with managers, clients, vendors, and agencies to field queries and questions.

· Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application development best practices.

· Determine, develop, and maintain user manuals and guidelines.

· Support and maintain the ERP and other company application systems.

Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills

· Bachelor degree in Business Operations Management or equivalent

· Around 5 years’ relevant experience with multinational company background

· Sound ERP implementation experience

· Knowledge of Epicor 9 is preferred

· Process re-engineering using Lean / Six Sigma techniques

· Experience and/or demonstrated knowledge of company global process

· Good business sense

· Proactive thinking, people oriented, excellent interpersonal skills, can influence others

· Well organized, able to handle details accurately; thorough knowledge of MS Office

· Experience on programming language like VB.NET, ASP.NET 2.0, Javascript, HTML and SQL server is an advantage

· Open, fast learner, honest and pleasant

· Strong written and oral communication skills

· Good command of written and oral English

· Highly self motivated and directed

· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

· Able to travel frequently
