QA Technologist – Branded Furniture

Division Product

Our Branded Furniture team will focus on Furniture and accessories’ development, production and sales, our Asian sourcing, distribution centre and sales are located in Shanghai. You will become a part of new dedicated team in Asia.

Responsibilities:

- You need to make the company even more competitive by securing quality from our new and existing suppliers; you need build close relationships with key suppliers.

- You will support the sourcing team to create the quality manual for production and QC reference in securing quality on new products.

- You will secure quality are the same level globally for our Branded Furniture, and secure alignment on quality levels between the European and Asian team’s.

- You will handle claims from clients in Europe or Asia, to create the monthly claim report, and follow up with CAP with QC team to prevent new claim or similar mistake happening.

- You will provide clients with good service on handling claims in professional and fast way.

- You need to implement quality improvements plans for suppliers in China based on inspection findings or complaint from customers.

- You will be responsible for securing that our product gets the needed certification according to market request.

- You will secure that the quality levels and quality systems in our branded furniture team will become world class.

Your personal profile:

- You should be a person with energy, dynamic, and you are able to remain calm, and in control in high pressure situations.

- You are strong communication skill with different parties (Sourcing team, QC team, Suppliers, Oversea clients).

- You are organized and hardworking

- You can manage several tasks at the same time,

- You like a busy and hectic environment.

What we expect from you?

We expect you to have more experience on quality assurance from furniture industry or buying office at least 3 years, we preferred you have strong technical background to analyze and deal with problems. You are fluent in Mandarin and English to a high level, and educationally, you have probably a technical / engineering background. You have results - where there has been a focus on high product quality, and continues improvements.
