职位描述
Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
1. Develop a computerized PO & Delivery Execution & Follow-up software / program
2. Obtain production Purchasing Orders(PO) from Crane business units (CBU) and record the PO information in the above-mentioned PO Follow-up program
3. Conduct regular & timely follow-ups on the production & delivery status during suppliers’ execution of the PO. The objective is to ensure the commodities to be purchased under the PO are delivered with right quantities at right time
4. Pursue pre-alerts for any potential slippages in executing PO, & expedite suppliers & get them back on track
5. Visit & stay at suppliers’ sites to stay-on-top of the suppliers to ensure quickest delivery for any delayed PO or backlogs/ over-dues
6. Help & monitor the Kanban replenishments of the suppliers which execute consignments
7. Ensure suppliers to get timely payments by working closely with CBU buyers
8. Participate in negotiations with suppliers on Pricing Agreement (PA) & Long Term Agreement (LTA) including the payment terms, consignment agreement, and other commercial & tech terms & conditions, which is aimed to create a most favorable & beneficial business conditions for Crane & its Bus
9. Be owner of maintaining LTA to ensure all the LTA terms & conditions are implemented without any exceptions
10. Develop, execute & sustain cost-effective logistic solutions with suppliers
11. Closely work with Sustaining Quality Engineer to coordinate & facilitate solutions & corrective actions for any quality-related problems with / from Supplier Quality Manager and related Supplier Quality Engineer
12. Drive suppliers' continuous cost reductions & improvements year over year
13. Monitor suppliers' financial status & health, and report the results
14. Maintain & update the data he ore she owns for KPI, and provide the data to the Assistant
15. Provide other necessary supports to Commodity Managers
16. The success of this position will be based on the following metrics:
? The on time delivery performance of products being purchased in China
? The year over year cost reductions
? The quality performance of products sourced in China
Required Experience and/or Education:
1. A university technical or commercial degree (preferably mechanical engineering) required
2. 3+ years work experience in operations and procurement
3. At least two years of working experience with multinational companies required with working experience in US or European companies preferred
4. Familiar with ERP, MRP or MRP II systems
5. Fluent English & Mandarin Chinese language capability and good understanding of the Chinese business culture, Chinese organizational structures and related personal motivational issues
6. Strong commercial skills with solid knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, business rules & practices, etc
7. Good business sense and judgment and effective communication skills are essential.
8. Strong computer and analytical skills are required
9. Goal oriented individual with project management skills and the ability to work independently
10. A team player with strong coordination capability
