Transport & Tender Manager

- For our APAC team in Shanghai we are looking for an experienced Transport & Tender Manager who will be responsible for the management of international Wind Power projects.

What are my responsibilities?
- Responsible for identifying potential subcontractors (crane, installation and transport) that can be certified and approved by Siemens Wind Power for executing of Wind projects in APAC
- Plan and budgeting of crane, installation and transport on designated projects
- Project specific monitoring and feedback improvements
- Responsible for transport execution in regard of plan, operation and economy
- Organize and execute of route surveys and site inspection with/without sub suppliers
- Balance with the commercial department in regard to payments of projects
- Manage abd coordibate loading and unloading of turbines
Identify new suppliers and do benchmarking against current and new ways of execution in APAC

What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Degree in specialized transportation
- Minimum 7 years experience in project transportation
- Experience in participation in project execution and transport management
- Essential to have intercultural and international experience in APAC and beyond
- Knowledge in project management methods and techniques, export control and customs, supply management and IT tools and methods
- Competent in English
