JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Strong candidate researching and locating new makers producing TNC/Brownstone's product areas of: Tabletop, Bath, Kitchen, Bedding, and Juvenile product to include Housewares, Toys, Bakeware.

2. Initial contact with new makers to include:

a. Meeting principals.

b. Visiting facilities.

c. Evaluating the maker on:

- Factory Compliance

- Production Capacity and Flexibility

- Management

- Financial Stability

- Price

3. Reporting "c" to appropriate parties within the company.

4. Follow protocol for reporting and recommending new makers to the company: TNC/Brownstone Management, Sourcing, SHO MRs.

5. Liaison with the MR team on all new maker findings. This is to include traveling to makers w/ the MR for initial introductions and PD meetings.

6. Liaison with the QC team on all new maker findings. This is to include traveling to makers w/ the QC Manager for initial introductions and audit preparation.

7. Maintain data base to track new makers by product strengths.

8. Proactive search for new categories applicable to our business base and expansion of the same.

9. Understand the company Product Development Process to work with it on new makers for new development.

10. Understand the company Costing System.

11. Maintain relationship with current suppliers and keep tracking of their status and development.

12. Keep track of updated information about business in terms of raw materials, labour, packaging, shipping, and China's latest policies, etc. and send updated monthly report to NY management.

13. Work out the costing method for all relevant products and verify prices quoted by suppliers.

14. Work with designers, merchandisers and technicians on new development.

15. Willing to travel
