Job Description:

----Product Inspection and Follow Up: Perform quality inspections on completed product as per company's assignment, report findings to office, work with supplier/factory to find out solution for quality improvement. Investigate quality issue reasons and set preventive plans/procedures in place to avoid re-occurance of same issue.

----Sample Inspections: check first dye lots, shade bands and first production samples based on established standards before sending to office for approval. Assistant technician to follow up sample development and check the samples before sending out to US office.

----Technical Support: provide technical support to internal/external parties such as teammates, merchandisers, suppliers on quality related inquires/issues, communicate new standards to suppliers, assistant technician to establish specific quality standards, independently or jointly with technician in assessing supplier/factory's technical competencies and give suggestions where necessary.

----Production Control: work proactively to watch on production progress to promote on-time delivery, put quality control efforts throughout the production process (spinning, weaving, dying, printing, cutting, sewing, packing ect) to ensure right quality is made in the first place. Report to office if see any potential late delivery.

----Factory Compliance: conduct audit to ensure factory's compliance level meets company and customers compliance standards. Identify areas of improvements and work with factories to improve.

----Supplier Management: Provide training to suppliers for existing and new procedures/standards, work on non-performing suppliers for improvement.

----Others: Assume additional responsibilities as assigned or directed by management

Job Requirement:

---- Degrees in textile or quality control

----5 years of relevant working experience in quality control,

---- In-deep product knowledge: complete understanding of all steps in production fabric based products including spinning, weaving, dyeing, printing, engraving, inspection, cutting and sewing. (Understanding of hardgoods like ceramics, plastics, glassware is a plus). Complete understanding of laboratory testing for wide range of textile products and fibers including physical and color testing. Must be able to review completed product for all quality including appearance, color and construction.

-----Quality tools: must understand AQL inspection for finished products and 4 point system for fabric inspection, basic understanding of ISO 9000.

----Understanding factory compliance for major US retailers, experience of factory audit and be able to assess factory for existing and new business.

----Good interpersonal skills and team work, good communication, supervisory and management skills.

----Good analytical and problem solving skills.

----High level of integrity and business ethics.

----Proactive and self start

----Be able to travel and work under pressure.

----Language competency: good skills of read and written in English, verbal skills in English is plus.

----Computer Literacy: good at Microsoft Outlook and Excel
