PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB:
Provide leadership for lean efforts in China Security manufacturing facilities.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
？ Introduction and integration of company Lean Enterprise System.
？ Drive lean assessment efforts, plan/implement lean operating models, and drive improvements across the supply chains in close association with the Plant Managers, manufacturing leadership teams, and supply chain leaders.
？ Install “balanced” lean operating models considering: Quality, Cost, Customer Service, and Capital Efficiency.
？ Development of a portfolio management process and the required tools to evaluate and select lean projects and tactics.
？ Define and lead the lean training efforts for China management, project leaders, and plant personnel.
？ Facilitate, mentor and lead Lean project leaders and team members through project tracking and follow-up review requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
？ Minimum 5 years in-plant manufacturing and supply chain experience
？ Thorough understanding of operations and lean flow principles
？ Experience with Lean concepts including: pull systems, value stream mapping, standard work, TPM, set-up reduction, error-proofing, 5S, visual controls and Kaizen.
？ Proven leadership skills and an ability to mentor, facilitate and produce results from virtual and project specific teams in a matrix environment.
？ Demonstrated record and ability to complete/close projects and to get real results.
？ Exposure to the complexities of global business, matrix-management, and experience in multi-tasking, prioritizing, and making decisions are required.
？ Excellent language skill in English and Mandarin for both Oral and Writing is a must.
？ Have team spirit and can take initiative.
