The department is currently involved with introduction of all new bodyshop projects and changes to support the JV cycle plan. This role is responsible for the development and implementation of feasible cost effective manufacturing solutions -Concept planning, through installation and into production working closely with product Development Engineering, OEM's and Plant to determine optimum solutions. The position will require significant placements at the engineering centres as well as all the manufacturing plants.

1.Develop Bodyshop Process concepts in line with Bill of Process for BIW.

2. Working with Product Development ensure feasible joining solutions for all joints.

3. Support Module Meetings/PMST to ensure cross – functional working with Stamping, DMBI.

4. Maximise equipment usage to achieve project Capital Investment targets.

5. Develop Process solutions to meet Hrs/car target – maximise operator efficiency by load window.
开发工艺解决方案以满足每辆车工时目标-通过装载窗口尽量增加操作人员效率
6. Develop process concept to meet Volume aspirations including buffer, technical availability overspeeds and Takt time to support financial planning volumes.
开发工艺概念图以满足预期销量,包括缓冲,提速的技术可行性和节拍时间来支持财务规划的销量
7.Use Aims & Production Snag Tracker to drive resolution of issues through to Performance buy-off - Drive Aims & Snag closure by phase.

8.Control the Maintenance of Em-Planner database & GSPAS Process database to support Plant WES creation.

9.Ensure Value for money solutions are sought for all Engineering changes.

10.Support delivery of R & M 5 point plan by supporting delivery of RGP – reliability Growth plans.

11.During launch support delivery of Facility Performance buy-off by driving 9 Panel process to ensure facility delivers within its Simulated Targets (DES) for MTTR & MTBF ensuring adherence to Design Cycle time.

12.Interface between Product Development, OEM's, Stamping, DMBI and Plant.

13Follow established engineering principles to determine the sequence of steps or processes required to fabricate and assemble products that meet the organisation’s standards of quality and cost.
