Job Objective:

The market analyst is responsible for providing detailed information about the Electronics and Building & Construction markets and related value chain;

He/She reports on the value of products, customers, competition and its activities and helps to understand the position & channeland requirement of the above market.

Accountabilities:

? Identify and track suitable market indices for market segments and correlate Hexion BU market performance with these indices.

? Track and analyze Hexion performance in each market segment. Maintain accurate assignments of customer/product combinations to market segments.

? Assist in development of global market strategies and regional business plans.

? Build and maintain database of customer volumes by market segment.

? Work closely with Marketing Managers, Account Managers and Business Managers to help identify future areas of growth, market segments and applications.

? Monthly track the sales of New Products and Specialty Products.

Knowledge / Education / Skills / Qualifications:

? Masters in Commercial Engineering or University degree in Business Economics

? Data Base Management Skills;

? Experience with SAP/BW is a plus

? 3 to 5 years working experience in a chemical environment is a strong plus

Mobility requirements:Maximum travel 10 - 20%
