The Opportunity:

B5M is looking to bring in passionate new General Manager to help catapult the company into becoming one of the top four most recognizable sites in China. The General Manager will report directly with the CEO on the following near and long term priorities:

? Lead the Hangzhou R&D, mobile product, engineering, and editor teams, increasing team efficency through effective recruiting and mentoring
? Accomplish objectives by coordinating the annual operations plan, budget, and KPI, allocating resources, and evaluating the progress of the organization
? Build the company brand image in Hangzhou by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations and employees, and implementing ethical business practices
? Work closely with the CEO and department heads to review the company’s performance with respect to milestones, delivery, engineering quality, customer service, and overall employee productivity
? Implement processes and management methods that will allow the organization to scale quickly as well as promote organizational efficiency and workflow optimization
The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be results oriented and have superior leadership, organizational and communication skills. The candidate must be process minded and be able to balance company goals with organizational resources while coordinating with multiple parties.
The candidate should embody B5M’s core values of accountability, ownership, entrepreneurial spirit and teamwork.

Qualifications:
? 5+ years management or entrepreneurial experience with strong technical understanding or engineering background. Overseas education background is a big plus
? A strong internet, especially e-commerce, experience is a must. Experience of building websites in top the 100 in China is a big plus
? "Roll-up-your-sleeves" entrepreneurial startup attitude and manager/coach. Very hands-on in defining objectives and delivering in a fast-paced environment
? Strong blend of analytic, decision-making and creative problem solving skills
? Ability to work effectively with many different people across the company
? Ability to work and thrive under immense pressure
? Good oral and written communication skills in English
