Brief description of this role:
As the Quality management representative, this rile manages the quality requirement and monitors compliance for Novus’ business in Asia. The role will manage the Novus Quality system and provide leadership in supporting the Novus Quality management system. The role will manage the Novus Quality system in Asia and provide leadership in supporting the Novus Quality management system.
Manage the quality procedures, coordinate and follow up for Asia and Novus products, quality certification and Novus Quality Manual
Maintain Quality Certificates for Novus Plants and products in Asia.
Manage problem reporting system for Asia
Organize routine quality meeting s for management review of problems worldwide and examining trends to allow for adequate corrective / preventative actions. Lead efforts to determine root causes and coordinate corrective actions.
Conduct and coordinate quality audits of Novus manufacturing plants to food manufacturing practices for traceability, safe manufacturing, safe handling, and accountability of raw ingredients, in process materials, and finished products from supplier to customer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide leadership for implementing Novus Glboal Quality system for manufacturing locations within Asia Pacific Region.
Provide leadership to Novus Quality system for sales and marketing departments within Asia pacific
Coordinate the issues management and lead the efforts to address problems and customer complaints and identify root causes to eliminate the reoccurrence of the same issue. Recommend actions necessary and track the root cause and actions to report to senior management under the management structure. Promote the visibility of efforts of continuous improvement.
Assure that Novus Quality system is being implemented and utilized throughout Asia Pacific’s operations. Execute audit based on 3 year audit schedule.
Provide supervisory support to NEA QA.
PREREQUISITES
l Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Quality control or Chemical/food science.
l Bilingual of English and Chinese.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
l Min 8 years’ experience in related to food additive/Ingredients product.

Knowleadge of critical elements of an effective quality management system

Planning and implementation skills
Interpersonal/Communication skills
Results orientation
Internationals quality management experience in highly regulated environment. Analytical and project management skills for solving complex matter.
Experience in development and maintaining a total quality management system
Coordinative skills to ensure effective interaction and communication within and external to Novus.
Knowleadge of Root Cause analysis and other Quality tools for continuous improvement.
The position requires leadership skills and team participation skills. Communication, stragegy building and negotiation skills to ensure effective interaction among staff from different departments, Novus manufacturing plants, and contract manufacturers.
Knowleadge of Quality Certification(ISO, HACCP, FAMI-QS, GMP)
Ability to effectively communication with personnel to understand processes and procedures in the Novus Quality System.
