Customer Quality Manager (CQM)
Responsibilities :-
Lead customer complaint handling to ensure customer satisfaction, including complaint handling process, containments, corrective actions, communication of quality improvement projects and their results to customers.
1. Maintain and improve the TS16949 quality system and effective implementation.
2. Ensure all products meet quality and customer performance standards.
3. Responsible for overall quality control aspects of raw materials, in-process and finished products.
4. Ensures such products are maintained within appearance, functionality, reliability and cost parameters.
5. Responsible for both internal and external customer requirement and follow up the issues.
6. Develop & implement & manage system of KPI for management efficiency & drive continuous improvement activities using 6 sigma, Kaizen, TCM & other similar strategies.
7. Establish/ Drive execution or implementation of Quality Process and Quality Improvement Plan.
8. Lead resolution of customer quality issues and continuously work on improvement to achieve customer satisfaction.
9. Lead Kaizen on Quality Improvement Program.
10. Communication at all levels with cross functions to resolve quality issues.
11. Develop Quality Staff in Quality skill and Knowledge.
12. Customer Return Authorization (RMA) for all customers, and RMA final report assessment.
13. Lead customer on-site audit and visit, internal preparation and after-audit CAR response in a timely manner.
14. Manage customer quality at sub-tier supplier and drive sub-tier suppliers’ quality improvement.
15. Managing a group of CQE engineers.
Requirements:-
1. Bachelor degree in engineering or above from an accredited college or university.
2. More than eight years of related working experience in multinational manufacturing company in Automotive related industries with min. three years management experience.
3. Good communication and presentation skill both in Chinese and English.
4. Ability to generate/ assess report on failure analysis, evaluation and quality issue.
5. Familiar with TS16949 (PFEMA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, etc.) & control plans.
6. Familiar with quality/ process control, problem solving, continuous improvement tools (six sigma as an added advantage).
7. Able to construct report on failure analysis, evaluation and quality issue.
8. Basic mathematics and statistics covered in college and university courses.
9. Abundant experience in applying statistic data analysis for problem solving, like DOE.
10. This position requires the ability to recognize and define problems, analyze data and facts, make inference or draw conclusions. Being able to relate cross functional impact and relationship of quality issues.
11. Office work is performed in a general air-conditioned office environment. However considerable amount of time in shop floor to execute quality control plans will be expected. Traveling is required for visiting customer at times.
