Purpose of Position:
The PM / Sr. PM is part of the Asia R&D team that develops and / or localizes foreign designed products for Asia region. The position title will be based on experience of the candidate.

The primary role of this position is to manage the full project development cycle, drive on-time execution, and collaborate with global organizations and cross functional teams to bring high quality products to market as quickly as possible. There is no direct subordinate for this role but the PM is expected to lead the engineering team members to finish the projects successfully.

Essential Functions:
? Develop, monitor and manage multiple projects throughout the product lifecycle
? Hands-on project management and actively manages project plan, scope, deliverables, dependencies
? Organize and manage project resources for the successful and timely completion of project orders, within the allocated budget and with high quality deliverables
? Set and maintain a detailed timeline and milestones for every project
? Ensure on-time execution
? Prepare communication plan and related project status reports to key stakeholders and senior management
? Identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies

Education, Background and Skill Requirements:
? CET-6 or above, excellent oral and written English is required as the candidate will need to host conference call with the foreign teams
? Bachelor degree (Master or PhD preferred) in any engineering related disciplines
? Minimum of 5 years of program/project management experience; candidate with PMP certification has added advantage
? Strong knowledge of digital and analogue electronics design techniques and methods
? 10 years engineering experience in product development or product maintenance of line
? Experience in international project management
? Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills needed to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work across cross-functional groups
? Hands-on and Detail orientated
? Demonstrate the ability to think critically and collaboratively to solve project roadblocks
? Demonstrated skills with Project management tool and methodologies, and product development lifecycle
? Experience with manufacturing and suppliers is a plus
