Responsibilities:

Purpose and & Objectives for the position:

-Meet PPV target by identifying and developing potential suppliers in China

-Support commodity manger(mainly Com1 and Com 4) to implement sourcing strategy

-Support product center and sales for new product introduction.

-Act as technical interface between R&D groups (internal and at the supplier)

-Carry out business negotiations and finalize supplier agreement.

-Initiate re sourcing activities by promoting sourcing potentials in China

-Improve supplier DOT performance by supporting in FC, supplier stock ,Vender management , supplier capacity management

-Monitor cost development to ensure the most beneficial price by collecting market information in labour cost, material price, tax, market player movement, government policy.

-Monitor supplier financial risk, supplier commercial strategy changing and initiate back up suppliers when it is necessary.

-Initiate and manage supplier development projects for improvement in supplier DOT, quality and business principle.

-Carry out supplier audit

Requirement:

-Strong initiatives

-High commercial and technical skills in identifying and developing potential suppliers

-Technical competence in manufacturing process like machining , casting, forging , welding etc.

-Supply chain management knowledge

-Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of agreements and contracts

-High communication skills

-Supplier quality management skills

-Familiar with material standard and engineering standard

-Knowledge in Inco terms.

-Bachelor degree or experience in mechanical engineering sourcing

-Fluent in speaking, reading, writing and listening English.
