Area of Responsibilities:
1.Leading of global product development projects for complex medical devices within histopathology field
2.Project coordination, supervision and control of interdisciplinary project teams
3.Manage whole project life cycle starting with gathering of customer requirements up to mass production of developed product
4.Negotiations and coordination on an international scale with internal and external partners
5.Responsible for the complete project management and activities in all project phases
6.Ensure effective risk management at all project stages
7.Ensure economic and technical project goals are met within agreed time frames
8.Continuous and regular reporting of project status and project KPI’s to all stakeholders
9.Creation of product specifications in liaison with all business divisions involved
10.Technical leadership of project team

Person Specification
Essential Qualifications & Education:
B.S. degree in Engineering
Skills & Knowledge:
In-depth project management experience with a track record (at least 3 years) within the medical device / life science sector
Solid experienced with relevant standards and regulations (ISO 13485 / FDA)
PMI training and certificatation
Able to communication in German?
Experience:
minimal 8 years work experience or M.S. with minimal 5 years experience.
Minimal 5 year project management experience in a multinational company
Personal Skills / Attributes:
Experienced in leading interdisciplinary and international project teams in a matrix organization, and able to influence effectively across the organisation
Motivator and effective leader; experienced in developing and training teams
Process oriented; structured and target-oriented approach; knows how to use project management tools efficiently
Decisive and strong project leader; able to handle and resolve conflicts within the project team
Strong strategic thinking and communication skills
Other areas: eg. Language & office skill
Excellent English communication ability (verbal and written)
