Development Engineers are responsible for conceiving, prototyping and developing new product designs for next generation products.
- Conceive devices that meet customer requirements based on knowledge of the thermal, electrical, and mechanical properties of materials
- Develop materials, processes and designs for next generation electronic component products; build and test prototype devices against product requirements
- Design, test and quality new circuit protection device families
- Define product specifications to ensure devices meet agency requirements and customer safety requirements.
- Interface with vendors, Marketing and manufacturing engineers to facilitate the introduction of new product platforms.
- Good project management skills with the ability to participate on strategic projects in global business context.
- Great team player with the ability to participate on regional teams and collaborate on product projects.
- Comfortable in lab environment with the ability to use test equipment.
- Must be capable of contributing to projects and managing to deadlines.
- Experience with directing the work of technicians preferred.
- Individual should be self-motivated, creative, and comfortable attacking problems with indefinite solutions.
- Should have ability to rapidly comprehend technical concepts, good problem solving capability, and good technical report writing skills
- Experience in electronic component industry a plus.
- Strong computer skills – MS Office – Excel and Word, PowerPoint, and statistical software.
- Proven 1-2 years of experience in engineering field with product development focus
- Bachelor degree or above in Chemical Eng., Mechanical Eng., Chemistry, Materials Science and Eng. or Electrical Eng.
- Should have thorough knowledge of own engineering field as well as basic knowledge of materials science, mechanical & electrical engineering.
- Speak English and Mandarin - must have strong communication/presentation skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

With the total investment summing up to 40.3 million USD and about 2000 employee, the company achieved annual sales revenue as high as 1.6 billion RMB in 2007.
