Mission:

Performs marine analysis for the installation of the fixed platform and hydrodynamics analysis for the floating offshore structures, as well as mooring system design. Field support of various Dockwise onshore and offshore project executions. Provides “up to date” engineering advice and support to Transport and Installation Engineering.

Responsibilities:

Impact on Business:

· Marine analysis for the fixed platform installation.

· Hydrodynamics analysis for the floating offshore structures.

· Mooring lines system design.

· Answers enquiries through collection, analysis and use of all necessary information needed for a successful acquisitions process.

· Assists in the preparation of a transport, perform studies for the preparation of T&I projects and has documents checked and approved.

· Field support of onshore and offshore operations.

Internal & External Customers/Suppliers as well as Third Parties:

· Gives support to other disciplines by using drawings, using industry standard and internal software.

· Offers (un)requested advice to ensure a safe and successful project execution.

Innovation and Change:

· Provides engineering advice and support to other disciplines, using industry standard and in-house developed hydrodynamics software.

· Offers (un)requested advice to ensure a safe and successful project execution.

· Does research, shares this knowledge with colleagues and develops, prepares and maintains engineering tools for future use.

· Gives support to contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of the business processes within the section.

Requirements:

Educational Background:
Bachelor or above degree in naval architecture or offshore engineering.

Professional Knowledge:

· Offshore structural design/analysis work experiences preferred.

· Able to read drawing or sketch and proficiency with MOSES, FLEXCOM, WAMIT is preferred.

· Specific knowledge about offshore and ship hydromechanics.

· Trained in the field of naval architecture and/or offshore engineering.

· Familiar with the codes/standards of DNV; API; Noble Denton.

Other skills:

· MS Office.

· MOSES, FLEXCOM, WAMIT.

· Fluent in Mandarin and English, both verbally and in writing.
