Reporting to the Program leader you will be responsible for:

• Assisting Program Leader
• Directing individual and group child sessions
• Daily program preparation
• Following the child's IEP documents
• Attending weekly meeting and staff training
• Half day program

Qualifications and Experience

• Teaching degree required or working in a school setting
• School or multidisciplinary clinic serving international children a plus
• English is required
• Mandarin not required but desirable

ELG is a social enterprise that provides special education, behavioral, developmental, mental health services for both the local and international communities.

Speech-language pathologist Dr. Shari D. Rosen was the first American developmental therapist based in China. When she saw the lack of resources available in Shanghai for families of children with special needs, she, husband Monte Rosen, and friend Andrew Hill came together to form ELG. ELG was launched in 2006.

ELG offers speech-language therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, behavior therapy, and mental health counseling by appointment. Some examples include support with learning disabilities, sleep difficulties, handwriting, mental health challenges, coordination, social skills, and much more. People can call with any issue, even if they aren’t sure what specific type of therapy or assessment they need. ELG sees over 600 clients per year across China.

ELG also offers training to parents and professionals, as well as consultation for safeguarding and crisis management.

言语语言病理学家罗雪丽博士是***个扎根于中国的美国儿童发展专家。在目睹了上海有特殊需求的孩子无法得到足够的支持和帮助，2006年，她和丈夫罗满提，朋友安德鲁一同创立了学建。

通过预约，学建可提供言语语言干预、物理干预、职能干预、行为干预和心理健康咨询。同样对包括学习障碍、睡眠问题、书写障碍、精神问题、协调能力和社交能力等方面提供支持。即便是无法确定自己需要什么类型的干预或评估，人们也可以打电话就任何问题进行咨询。学建每年为全中国超过600个家庭提供服务。
