Position Profile
New development
? Supports PEM within range of personal expertise
? Provides drawing and document preparation and translation for FAI, PPAP, and customer requests
? Inspects and prepares customer and FAI samples
? Arranges sample shipments to US
? Manages distribution of items shipped to factories via MPS Shanghai.
? Direct communication between MPSUS Engineering and factory during FAI sample process with oversight of MPSC PEM
? Supports upload and maintenance of FAI files and data
Factories and sub-suppliers
? Supports onsite new item and FAI qualification
? Supports on-site production and shipment audits
Candidate profile
Experience requirements specific to automotive brake and clutch hydraulic components.
? Knowledge of brake master cylinder, wheel cylinder, brake caliper, clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder products.
? SAE test standards, equipment and methods for safety critical brake hydraulic components and seals. These are example of US and European standards MPS product must comply with.
? SAE j1153 and 1154 master cylinder testing
? SAE j1601, 1603, 1604 rubber cup, seal and boot testing
? SAE j101 wheel cylinder testing
? Iron and aluminum casting.
? Rubber cup seal manufacturing manufacturing processes, material certification, and production lot testing
? Machining and honing processes that applies to precision finished automotive hydraulic cylinder castings.
? Production line leak detection methods
? Best practices for SAE testing development samples
? Familiar with ISO TS16948 certification
