Summary

The GNS Project Manager is responsible to deliver projects of any kind to answer the needs of GNS clients. He collects requirements and needs from the internal clients and works with the technical experts to propose various solutions to the clients. He is also responsible for all communications surrounding the project.

Mission

The main responsibilities and routine tasks of the GNS Project Manager are to:

· Collect and analyze client needs;

· Complete all deliverables required for each phases of the GNS project framework;

· Secure required resources from various teams with the help of their managers;

· Collaborate with various teams and department in order to deliver optimal solutions;

· Manage project risks and opportunities;

· Follow up on activities and communicate frequently with the stakeholders on the project status;

· Ensure adequate communications between the stakeholders of the project;

· Be responsible for the on-time, on-budget and high-value delivery of the project;

· Apply project management best practices and make them progress within the department;

· Carry out all other related tasks.

Training

· Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience;

· PMP Certification is an asset.

Relevant experience

5+ years overall working experience in IT industry and 2+ years as a project manager.

· Excellent negotiation skills

· Have good interpersonal communication skills

· Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management

Knowledge

· Excellent English skills (spoken and written)

· French fluency is an asset

· Good knowledge of project management software such as Microsoft Project, Hansoft and Visio

· Good knowledge of agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
