Key responsibilities:

1 Design and develop systems to index and search the data with all kinds of types in pharmaceutical and biologic field.

2 Build a set of APIs of web services for search of the knowledge systems.

3 Lead the search group to develop such systems.

4 Leverage the power of AWS cloud (Amazon Web Services) to operate and maintain such systems.

Basic requirements:

1 Love of data, and more love of big data

2 English and Chinese language ability

3 Command of programming language: java or python.

4 Command of database modeling.

5 Knowledge of information retrieval andbrowsing.

6 Experience of using open source tools (Lucene) to build search systems.

7 Familiar with data protocols such as JSON, xml.

Preferred points:

1 Command of Linux Shell, ssh, github will be a plus.

2 Experience of usingNoSQL database will be a plus (mongodb, redis, Amazon SimpleDB, Memcache).

3 Experience of distributed computing or using such open source tools (such as zookeeper) will be a plus.

4 Have knowledge of semantic web and semantic search will be a big plus.

5 Experience of web development using python, php, js will be a big plus.
