The MTS/enzymology group at China Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research Co. Ltd (CNIBR) is currently seeking to fill an investigator II-level position. The primary responsibility of the candidates is to develop innovative high-throughput enzymatic and/or binding assays, and to implement MTS screens in support of the drug discovery efforts on epigenetic targets. The position requires the candidate to lead and supervise a small team of 1-2 associate-level scientists and be responsible for managing all the medium-throughput screening and compound profiling activities.

The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry, enzymology or related field, and >3 years’ experience at developing high-throughput screening assay in a lead discovery setting. Good English communication skill and the ability to work in a team environments are also required
