JOB DESCRIPTION

Main work scope:

¤ Source, evaluate and select new suppliers from certain criteria’s.

¤ Develop and execute price negotiation strategies with suppliers.

¤ Continuously drive cost saving and process improvement towards suppliers.

¤ Be the link between the project (NPI) and sourcing/purchase organisation.

¤ Secure the sourcing process and supply chain for new products.

¤ Work closely with sourcing lead ,R&D, industrial lead, quality and the fulfilment team.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

¤ Bachelor′s or Master′s in electronics or business science or similar.

¤ 5 years experience from purchasing, sourcing, project planning or similar.

¤ Strong ability to collaborate across organizational and cultural boarders.

¤ Skilled in negotiation with suppliers in terms of cost, deliveries etc.

¤ Excellent communication skills in English both written and speaking.

SPECIFIC SKILLS

¤ Good if have experience within plastic moulding/injection, die-casting ALU/Zinc – alloy.

¤ Approximately 50 days of travel

The Sourcing group is involved in all stages of a products lifetime... e.g. Industrialization, development, design for manufacturing and product data management in PDM and ERP system during development of new products and during serial production the group supports with maintenance and product changes. The main collaboration is with R&D, EMS’s, the configuration & logistic centers and the quality department.
