Ci&T is currently looking for a Systems Architect to support our technical team operations in Asia Pacific Region. The professional will be primarily based in Shanghai, China.

Position responsibilities:
Lead a team of Software Architects
Guide its team to provide technical documentation based on customers' needs and limitations, trending and best practices.
Guide/Support its team towards the implementation of successful web applications. Review/Assist its team on tasks related to estimation, planning, analysis, design, and implementation of framework/component of various projects.
Ability to quickly assess and challenge architectural proposals made by its team, understand limitations and advantages of other technologies, proposing alternative architectural solutions and patterns.
Via its team, provide consulting services involving Solution Architecture (such as: application performance analysis, application solution design, security analysis, design and implementation of PoCs, integration with different systems, analysis of OOB tools, etc).
Ensure development and architects team are fully and continuously capable of delivering technical solutions with outstanding quality and value add to our customers
Hire, coach and manage technical designers and architects
Architectural/Coding Process/Best Practices are being followed by all projects he/she is involved;
Envision project's architectural risks ahead, providing alternatives and plans for Management to prevent them from happening

Position Requirements
7+ years of experience in software development projects, with past positions related to software development and software architecture, preferably (not mandatory) in different platforms/types of solutions/sectors (e.g. - Java, LAMP, .Net; - Healthcare, Financial, Media, etc)
Ability to collaborate with Business and Sales team, in order to maintain and increase clients/prospects portfolio through a consistent technical delivery demonstration over the sales cycle (pre-sales active role)
Ability to apply cost and quality tradeoffs using long term view and strategies towards an optimal architecture
Experience on supporting and reviewing teams solutions architecture, coaching technical teams to provide optimal architecture based on customer' requirements
Enthusiasm for problem solving, software development process and continuous improvement mindset
Excellent listening, coaching, communication, group facilitation and conflict resolution skills
Fluent in Mandarin (at native speaking level)
Advanced English skills
Passion about software development
B.S. degree or higher in computer science or related fields

These will be considered big differentiators:
Software development process & agile methodologies background
Experience in IT services outsourcing for american, european and/or japanese clients.
Availability of short term travels - visit other Ci&T's Delivery Centers and current/new customers.
Japanese language skills
