Job Description:
Marketing position focusing in evangelizing the Broadcom XGS Product line to customers in service provider market. This is a great opportunity to join the ranks of winning technical marketing team.
The successful candidate shall:
* Focus on Design Wins: Promote XGS product line in new designs and upgrades of existing platforms, and when required collaborate with other teams within Broadcom in the development of complete technical and business proposals. To accomplish this, one needs to: (i) Understand and maintain contact with key customer teams and periodically provide product updates and get updates from customer teams on their plans and needs. (ii) Win designs, when opportunity emerges, by properly positioning Broadcom XGS products and by developing and presenting appropriate technical and business proposals.
* Support Customers During Product Development Phase: Support customers during their product development activities and, if necessary, work with other teams within Broadcom to resolve customer issues.
* Manage Customer Demand for Broadcom Devices: Work with sales teams in managing forecast for accounts under management. To accomplish this, one needs to understand the devices involved in key customer platforms and understand impact of customer product transitions to demand for specific XGS devices and revenue.
* Market Analysis and Analysis of Key Customer Platforms: Develop market & competitive analysis and understanding of product portfolio of customers within a particular market.

Prerequisites for this position:
Technical Prerequisites: Strong technical capabilities in networking technologies is a must have prerequisite. By focusing on service provider market, emphasis of technical knowledge is in Carrier Ethernet/IP switching, Carrier Access, Wireless Backhaul, Ethernet Aggregation, Metro and Transport technologies.
Proficiency of the English language is a must have prerequisite: The candidate is expected to have strong oral and writing communication skills in English and be comfortable to conduct business activities in English. The candidate is expected to be able to prepare and present professional level technical and marketing Microsoft PowerPoint presentations in English, and, in general, be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools.
Profile Characteristics Prerequisites: We are looking for a high energy, driven, hardworking individual who has demonstrated experience in technical marketing or in providing technical support of switching semiconductor products to Tier-1 or Tier-2 OEM companies. The ideal candidate is expected to be articulate, imaginative, passionate in marketing of Broadcom switching products.
