This position reports to Head of Quality

Responsibilities:

1. Perform and report project audits.
2. Ensure that all customer identified quality issues undergo a formal problem analysis process.
3. Ensure that all internally identified quality issues are considered for formal analysis by the management team.
4. Lead and document all formal problem solving analyses carried out as a result.
5. Regularly present the quality driven action list to each department.
6. Manage all quality driven actions to a satisfactory conclusion as project.
7. Ensure measures of performance are defined for project and functional process performance.
8. Collect, collate, analyze project and functional process measures of performance and present regularly through proper channels.
9. Member of the review team for formal project and technical reviews as required by Futuris processes
10. Fulfill APQP requirement to deliver flawless launch objectives

Qualifications
1. Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Systems / Quality / Project Management

Experience
1. 3+ years experience in a similar role
2. 3+ years experience in dealing with suppliers & customers - building relationships and delivering outcomes
3. Experience in a JIT automotive environment
4. Experience within an In Line Vehicle Sequence Environment
5. Experience of leading a cross functional teams (desirable)
6. Proven experience in delivering quality improvements
7. Experience with overseas suppliers
8. Experience in developing and implementing QOS (desirable)
9. Experience in Automotive quality management
10.Preferred Automotive and/or Aerospace industry experience

Skills & Knowledge
1. High level computer skills with MS Office Suite
2. Working knowledge of quality & environment systems; specifically ISO/ TS16949 and ISO14001
3. Knowledge of the quality/ technical/engineering/ project management functions at Futuris Automotive industry
4. Working Knowledge of Ford System highly desirable.
5. Be able to advise on optimised business processes that drive to Business Excellence
6. Proven customer service orientation
7. High level of operational experience
8. Knowledge of manufacturing processes
9. Knowledge of automated and manual assembly and design/engineering constraints applicable
10. Skills & knowledge in problem solving
11. Basic project management skills - time/quality/cost tradeoffs and their prioritisation
12. Effective written and verbal communication skills
13. Proven skills in both a team environment and autonomously
