Basic Purpose of the Position
Partner with IT team members and at times meet with the client community to assist with basic consulting, development and delivery of Business Intelligence services that utilize underlying technology solutions in support of business objectives to improve productivity. Responsibilities primarily for baseline IT process review and support, reporting and analysis duties and may include participation on project teams. This would include the ongoing maintenance, optimization, 3rd-level support and basic consulting.

Accountabilities
Service & Solution Development (incl. consulting): Responsible for design, technical architecture and implementation of IS services, IS systems or IT components following the defined BI process framework of systems and software in the own area. Provide subject related basic consulting and support prototyping. Perform Business Intelligence (Cognos / Qlikview) analysis, design, and programming function (incl. consulting). System,Service and Solution Support: Responsible to provide maintenance, optimization, innovation and 3rd level support for implemented and/or assigned solutions. Troubleshooting system problems that have been escalated. Is taking over System Lead (and/or Software Lead) responsibilities for small systems. Project Activities: Support goals by participating on project teams. Deliver on assigned tasks and action items. Takes over Project Manager responsibilities for small to mid size projects. Technical/Organizational Focus: Serve as an expert for existing systems or solutions technical level in assigned area. Employ comprehensive knowledge to influence technologies and solution decisions. Identify IT or Pharma industry processes or technologies that could provide BI with a competitive advantage. Documentation and BI Framework: Understand the BI framework and follow defined processes. Determine documentation requirements and produce documentation as required in support of baseline and project activities Networking & Relationship Building: Develop and Nurture proactive relationships within CoE BI, IS, Business and External Business Partners Regionally & Globally. CoE BI is a cross-functional, cross-Regional organization where service success is highly dependant on fostering strong professional relationships. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Experience
? Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer, Electrical or Industrial) or Statistics
? Highly independent individual with 4 to 8 years' experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse Management, and have proven track record in delivering business intelligence solutions
? 1 to 3 years experiences as a Project Manager role. PMP or other relevant certifications would be an added advantage.
? Excellent communication and project management skills. Ability to clearly document meeting notes and user requirement is essential
? Able to work under time pressure and development across multiple concurrent projects
? High technical proficiency in Cognos, SAS, Oracle and various Business Intelligence tools
? Highly resourceful individual who is proactive in asking and persistent in getting to understand the meaning behind the data
? Passion in driving quality process and quality output
? Strong business acumen skillsets, and experience engaging internal/external customers
