POSITION PROFILEDESIGNATION: Conference Sales Manager (4 positions)LOCATION: Shanghai, ChinaREPORT TO Branch General Manager/Business Unit Director/Group Director.
JOB DESCRIPTIONConference Sales Manager is responsible for seeking sponsorship while selling delegates of WINTIME events, developing & managing a sales team of 5-6 people to accomplish each project revenue target, and maintaining good customer relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1,Manage the sales executives from lead generation, telesales to on-site delivery at the event
2, Liaise closely with staff across the conference production marketing, and operations teams
3, To sell sponsorship and exhibition packages ranging from US$ 5K-35K both by telephone
4, To identify prospective clients by monitoring internal and external publications, websites, competitive exhibitions and conferences
5, To manage the accounts of both new and existing clients across the worldü To exceed agreed monthly revenue targets for each event
6, To attend various Conferences / Exhibitions both in China and overseas as necessary
7,To hold regular weekly meeting for the project sales team to review and set the target for the next week sales revenueü
8,To guide and train sales executives to achieve the sales target
9, To negotiate and draw up the sponsor contracts for the sale within company guidelines Requirementü Assist in on-site conference operations when required
REQUIREMENTS
1, 2-3 years' sales experience selling to decision makersü 1 year team management experience
2, Excellent spoken and written Englishü Experience with consultative and telephone-based selling would be preferred
3, A superb communicator, confident on the telephoneü Strong commercial knowledge and market consciousness
4, Ability of independently thinking and solving problem
5, Experience completing the sales cycle, including targeting new business opportunities, negotiating contracts and closing deals
