The Global Supply Chain JDM Operations Quality has the role to expand and development the Quality expertise of the Motorola Solutions (MSI) critical JDM partners and the key JDM material suppliers that are defined critical for the business. We lead the realization of significant improvement in quality by focusing on high-value opportunities, leveraging our and JDM resources, developing JDM and suppliers along with driving the utilization of Six Sigma quality tools. Lead the effort in the Quality section of the supplier scorecard process and drive quality improvement plans. Provide lead role in identifying and driving quality issues with resolution and processes improvements to ensure permanent corrective actions are implemented and sustained at our JDM’s and their key suppliers. This is completed by being the “Quality One Face” for JDM supply chain related issues to enable our MSI Supply Chain to meet customer commitments. We align with our MSI Supply Chain and Quality partners by providing boots on the ground at the critical JDM partners (also known as the BIG 4) with category expertise, transparent communication, and rapid solutions attacking systemic quality issues, expert problem solvers, and drivers of tactical Quality Events.

Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations

In this role the candidate will be responsible for; but not limited to:

– JDM parts qualification status tracking

– SDE MCAR, NCR status tracking

– JDM MCAR creation and follow up.

– Operations Review Slides prepare, data collection for Scorecard, QSA, Sub-tier QSA, RFTY, NPI Parts Qualification, etc.

– JDM Operations Quality weekly summary,

– JDM Sub-tier Suppliers Database maintenance

– Operations duties, Tigers order release, etc

– JDM program process sign off.

– Learn MSI JDM Supplier Quality management tools.

– Other task assigned by Manager

Specific Knowledge/Skills

– Understand quality tools usage.

– Understand SDE role and responsibility

– Good at excel, MS office, SAP, Oracle, etc.

– Familiar with Agile is a plus.

– Good at English Communication

– Can quick learn Motorola Quality tools
