we are seeking an outstanding .NET developer to work with our Scrum Master and Systems Analysts in our Application Development Services division. This developer will be required to determine business requirements, prepare technical design documentation and build new software by leveraging both legacy code bases and recently developed software. The successful candidate will work professionally to find and correct errors in application systems, and will rigorously test programs to gauge their efficiency.
This position provides ample opportunities to gain key development knowledge, insight and experience, by working within a smart, talented and committed team of professionals. The successful applicant will be continuously mentored, and encouraged to grow and develop as the company grows!
Your responsibilities include:
1. Work as part of our worldwide team on requirements analysis, software design and implementation
2. Maintain and enhance existing products with a focus on quality, robustness and reliability
3. Work across organizational boundaries to achieve objectives as part of the team
4. Use Agile processes and Scrum methodology to deliver value to our customers and eliminate waste
5. Continually seek to broaden and deepen their technical understanding of the development toolchain, and offer input regarding technical issues
6. Take responsibility for delivery quality, maintain fully awareness of project status and collaborate proactively to identify and resolve project-related issues
7.Work continuously to help keep teammates motivated and focused on delivery
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. Solid work experience in programming with .NET, including a high level of familiarity with the following:
Sharepoint, C#, ASP.Net, HTML, XML, XSL, JavaScript, Web Services and Web Parts
2. Experience with using Visual Studio, Microsoft IIS and SQL server
3. A sound understanding of core database concepts, including SQL, stored procedures and triggers
4. Experience with using a version control system
5. A clear understanding of software development processes
6. A commitment to excellence
7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to stay on top of multiple projects
8. Good verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
9. Motivation and self-direction
10. The ability to work productively and effectively on fast-paced projects
11. Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
Preferred candidates will also be:
12. Experienced in portal development and collaborative software applications
13. Experienced in developing Microsoft Sharepoint solution
