Job Description:

Ensure the smooth running of new projects from customer enquiries to mass production. Heads the Project Engineering section.

- Liaise with customer and vendors on databases, schedule and process, etc.

- Review quotations and make arrangement on schedule and process flow.

- Lead DFM discussions. Review and discuss internally with Engineering team than get back and work Working with customers on the product design to ensure manufacturability of the parts.

- Ensure smooth running and timely delivery of prototype build & Tooling build plan.

- Review and ensure all PE fill up and knowing information for new projects to all departments by Initiating production of new parts and tooling (PNPT).

- Ensure all PE conduct New Project Kick off meeting, ECN and build review meeting, ect.

- Keep track of tool build and project status and update by weekly basic.

- Assist Sales in liaising with new customers on technical and quotation purposes.

- Provide information on any new projects from existing customers for operation and capacity planning.

- Feed back to customer any issues with regards to product print (Tolerance, Material or Surface Finishing issues)

- Work with other Hi-P Industries facilities to ensure the smooth transfer of tooling and project handover to mass production.

- Ensure the smooth operations of the Project Engineering section, meeting set goals and objectives.

- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Superior or Manager.

- Responsible to launch meeting and prepare trackers for project issues and demand.

Requirement:

1.Computer literate especially in AutoCAD, Knowledge of Pro-E would be an advantage

2.Experience and knowledge in Stamping and Precision Engineering

3.Able to work independently and possess a high level of initiative
