Qualification:

-Experience:
-3 years purchasing experience.
-Skills:
-Problem solving and analysis techniques.
-Communication and feedback ability.
-Negotiation skills.
-Cost breakdown analysis, especial plastic injection parts, with metallization surface treatment.
-Knowledge of computer packages (MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint)
-Local and partially worldwide supplier market knowledge.
-English 90% (written and spoken).
-Quality and environment procedures and/or instructions of the area.
-Production process. Molding, injection, preferred.

Responsibility:
Manage plastic injection part business.
Supplier selection for new project.
Quotes analysis.
Develop short and long term cost reduction projects.
Presentation of the projects in the MSC and VA/VE.
New sourcing presentation in the Sourcing Committee.
Consolidate and rationalization of the supplier panel.
Issue purchase orders in the system.
Control QCD supplier performance.
Keep updated the purchasing system.
Monthly analysis and report of the PPI,PMS.
Feedback and coordination with the logistic planner.
Contract negotiations.
Continuous communication with the suppliers.
File, control and maintain the documentation generated.
Participate in the daily, weekly and monthly meeting of the department.
Comply with the quality and environment standards procedures and instructions (those applicable).
All those activities generated as a result of changes, requirements and/or improvement in the process of the applicable area.
Other tasks assigned by manager.
Authority:
To initiate and get a final negotiation with a supplier, to be confirmed and approved by the Family Buyers Mgr.
Approve and sign contracts; schedule agreements and Purchase Order in ERP to be submitted to Senior Purchasing Manager signature and final approval.
