A Leading European Trading Company FMCG Industry
Oversee and manage the overall logistics service for Beverage Group in PRC, while developing a 5 year strategic plan to accommodate our growth expectations with most effective and efficient logistics operation
· Devise a door to door supply chain strategy for Beverage Group achieving an optimal mix between customer satisfaction, operational excellence and cost
· Combine strategic development as well as continuous improvement programmes to effect improvement across the logistics and supply chain of the Beverage Group's operations in Mainland China
· Manage, coach and motivate the entire logistics team, based in several cities throughout Mainland China
· Develop more effective forecasting programmes, to work with the regional heads, to ensure optimum levels of inventories at all time. This will entail monthly updated rolling forecasts per brand per sku per region
· Be responsible for the overall supply chain process, including effective and efficient sea/air freight, Customs clearance, Hygiene Certificates, labelling issues, transfer to warehouses throughout Mainland China, delivery of goods to our customers
· Develop the most effective 3PL programme, ensuring we have the most suitable 3rd party warehouses and delivery services to our customers. To constantly benchmark and review to ensure we have the best service
· Provide expertise and guidance on import laws, PRC Customs and duties, CIQ as well as other related regulations to assure compliance
Candidate qualifications
· Graduate with university degree in logistics or related commercial studies
· Minimum 10 years solid, well rounded logistics experience, of which a minimum of 5 years in responsible managerial position with strong commercial background, preferably in a trading company
· Professional, initiative project manager with a hands-on, robust management approach
· Business driver with ability to work self-sufficiently and independently with strong personal and professional integrity
· Proficiency in written and spoken English and Putonghua. Cantonese and other languages would be helpful
· Strong in process design and transaction flows
