Our client, one of the world's leading metrology companies, has supplied products to manufacturing companies worldwide, all designed to increase productivity and improve product quality in a competitive manufacturing environment. Now, it is rapidly expanding in China, opening a number of branch offices across the country. It is seeking high caliber candidates to fill the following position.
Responsibilities:
1. - Develop a consistent best practice approach to sales strategy for all product lines
2. - Coordinate the activities of all sales facing staff in order to achieve the above
3. - Implement the consistent approach by demonstrating its effectiveness and importance and building strong working relationships in order to achieve acceptance by the Sales team
4. - Work with regional offices to identify and manage improvements to sales and improve effectiveness
5. - Facilitate and structure the thinking of product managers in order to produce effective sales materials which directly provide impact and improve sales performance
6. - Provide support to product managers that lack the resource or experience to generate compelling value?led sales channel materials
7. - Develop a strategy, roadmap, and detailed plans of project activities to enable reporting on status to senior sales management
8. - Responsibility for sales distribution and order processing managing a team of sales administrators and warehouse staff to improve efficiency of goods processing and order delivery
Requirements:
9. - Experience in the development of sales channel marketing materials for a multi?channel and wide product range organization
10. - Proven sales and marketing experience - applicants with a range of expertise and seniority will be considered
11. - Demonstrable ability to take, and a track record of having taken, a systematic and disciplined approach to work
12. - High degree of technical understanding which translates across industrial applications
13. - Influencing, leadership and instructional skills
14. - Proven experience in developing Contact management programs and the use of these programs to develop sales opportunities and set targets for sales territories and staff
15. - Direct commercial experience of selling complex solutions to customers on an International basis
16. - Familiarity with the principles of selling technical solutions and products in a business?to?business, value context
17. - Experience working across a number of different cultures and manufacturing sectors
