A US MNC Leader in the Chemical industry



Duties:

· Align with Global Sales & Operations Leader to lead & support annual and quarterly revenue, cost and cash flow objectives for the North Asia (NA) region

· Run monthly Pre-S&OP process in the region to support/ validate inputs for Global Sales & Operations Leaders

· Partner with Regional Product Managers to ensure the linkage for the region

· Partner with Businesses and Operations in the region to ensure the linkage between Demand and Supply consistent and visible to Global

· Ensure the integration within Supply Chain in the region (Direct Materials, Logistics) function well along with Business & Operations linkage

· Lead the Sales & Operations Planning process for business in the NA region to support annual and quarterly revenue, cost and cash flow objectives.

· Run the monthly planning process to ensure alignment and a single set of numbers linking demand, supply and financial commitments

· Partner with Demand manager to ensure linkage between demand volumes and supply plans

· Partner with Area General Managers and Operations Leaders to ensure linkage between supply plan and detailed production schedule

· Establish and track relevant compliance and accuracy metrics for continuous improvement of process

· Provide clear summary of high level risks and opportunities to GM and business leadership for subsequent action planning

· Accountable for delivering agreed upon inventory and DOH targets for the NA region as committed to Global

· Partner with procurement leaders in the region to ensure process and metrics in place to improve control of raws and packaging

· Partner with Demand/Product Manager in the region to ensure that actions are in place to establish Finished Goods target levels and that appropriate business rules are in place

· Drive improvements to the overall S&OP process for the SA region while fully aligned with Global through identification and adoption of new tools and processes

· Partner with IT to build business case for investments in software to simplify and improve the business results from the planning process

· Identify clear Performance Metrics and Roles & Responsibilities and deliver for the region with regards to Supply Chain Reliability (On-time shipment%), Supply Chain Responsiveness (Orders Fulfillment Cycle Time), Supply Chain Agility (Supply Chain Value-At-Risk) in addition to Cost (COGS, Leakages), and Cash (Inventory, Cash-to-Cash cycle time)

1. Work closely with the S&OP Leader South Asia, towards best practices sharing, common/standard process around S&OP/Supply Chain, while align the S&OP process with the Direct Material Purchasing and Logistics team towards Supply Chain Excellence in the region



Skills and Abilities:

· BS degree, MBA a plus.

· Over 5 years of relevant leadership experience in operations, supply chain or S&OP implementation

· Excellent organizational, communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills.

· Able to identify and analyze opportunities for improving financial drivers throughout supply chain.

· Ability to lead/manage/influent within the matrix organization, ie strong leadership.

· Sense of urgency and bias towards action.

· Excellent skill in SAP, excel, and presentations.

· Excellent communication skills, including intercultural understanding.
