We are looking for a self-driven and highly analytical person who wants to be a key resource for EF Labs. You will be responsible for ensuring that decision-makers in the group have timely, accurate and relevant data analyses. The decisions made with this information will drive the strategy, direction, and revenue. You will be expected to build up and drive business analytics for the group. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing part of EF.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with data structures and how to directly source information using SQL and web tools. However, this role is quickly expected to move from data integrity towards data reporting and analysis. The candidate must feel comfortable acting as a problem-solving intermediary between the business owners and the data itself.

In this role you will provide decision-support to product managers and executives by creating reports, running queries, and performing advanced analytics on data sets. You will also be able to identify data quality issues and their root causes. You will propose fixes and system changes to ensure data integrity.

While performing these duties, success in this role is dependent upon proactively improving the business. In that context, you will be expected to constantly interview product managers, understand the key drivers of the business and present clear, coherent and actionable analyses that drive revenue.

Requirements:

1. At least 2 years’ experience working as an analyst for an online, consumer-facing business, preferably working closely with marketing teams.
2. You must be comfortable using common reporting tools for an online business, including database reporting, web performance and statistical analysis.
3. You must deliver clear written and oral communications in English.
4. You must be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical co-workers and vice-versa.
5. You must be able to present complex metrics in easy-to-understand visual formats when appropriate.
6. You must have an undergraduate university degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Economics or Statistics
7. You must possess strong business acumen in order to understand different online business models and the key metrics that drive them.
